Reminiscent follows Ella as she navigates grief for the first time. After losing her best friend Eve, she is presented with a trough of memories. As she sifts through the memories she begins to deal with her grief and allows herself to learn how to accept and move on.
Ella – 17, classic surfer girl stuck in the city. Dependent on the people around her, she is quiet and has a hard shell but a soft inside. Ella is trying to regain her meaning in life and what life means without people you love.
Eve – 17, a city girl through and through. Full of life, Eve is able to light up any room and leaves her mark wherever she goes. Her short time on earth was well spent.
Ella’s Sister – 24, Ella’s sister is kind and mature. Her friends and family’s first word to describe her is warm. If Ella doesn’t go to her mom, she goes to her sister. She hate’s things she can’t fix and Ella’s grief is one of the first things that she’s not sure she’ll be able to help with.
