We are casting for ‘Wurli’ an original short film inspired by the song by Dominic Fike by the same name. ‘Wurli’ is about a situationship between Alex – a guy who wants love and Jackie, a gender non-conforming woman who doesn’t want anything serious. The film has an alternative vibe, so having an alt style will definitely help!

(He/him) Alex is a shy, timid, hopeless romantic. He doesn’t ever say what he actually feels, he lets it bubble up until it eventually just bursts out. Anxious attachment style.
Costume – alt style, indie kid type. Shaggy hair, flannel, etc.
Wants: Love. Even if it kills him, he’ll take whatever he can get. When he falls for someone, he falls hard.

(She/they) Headstrong, easygoing. Doesn’t take things seriously. They want to just enjoy life and their youth without consequences, but that’s not a reality they can have. Feelings confuse them since they have trust issues. Avoidant attachment style. A bit of a gaslighter, not with mean intent.
Costume – Grunge/emo-leaning style. Blacks, reds, etc. dyed hair. Sharp eyeliner makeup. Non-binary/gender non-conforming.
Wants: Enjoy their youth. Not have any attachments or responsibilities. They want to connect with people who also just want to have fun. Sadly, Alex wants more.

(She/her) – sarcastic, but only wants the best for those they care about. They care deeply, but the way they show it is harsh. “Tough love” kind of person. Very protective
Costume – blonde, glasses, casual and comfortable. (Open to changes)
Wants: They want to protect Alex, someone they’ve seen get hurt time and time again, and they are always there to pick up the pieces.
