Assistant Archivist duties: Must know google shared documents, Excel and Dropbox
Organized and detailed oriented
Help researcher and download files from director’s email research requests
Add details from director’s email research requests to master “research” list (in shared google doc)
Convert videos from YouTube or other websites with 4K Downloader or other “rip” software to .mp4 format
Download this .mp4 conversion to Dropbox to the appropriate folder
Download photos or newspaper articles to Dropbox to the appropriate folder
Copy description of .mp4 conversion or photo or newspaper article to Google shared spreadsheet
Be familiar with archival houses or other archival sources and how to procure photos or footage from them.
Research and download to Dropbox (same procedure as above) archival requests from the director’s scripts
