Event Details

One of the longest-running Jewish film and media festivals in the country – FALL FEST, presented by Philadelphia Jewish Film and Media (PJFM) – is back for its 43rd year. As presenter of the city’s first film festival ever, PJFM continues bringing the best in Jewish international cinema and digital media content.

From November 11-18, the Festival will premiere international feature films and
documentaries, Jewish shorts, and throwback cinema. Films tackle social justice
issues like abortion, the intersection of queerness and Orthodox Judaism, and
Black Jews in America. There are also Holocaust-centric films explored through
widely different lenses, tales of Russian, Israeli, and Sephardic Jewry,
romance, history, and even animation.

All screenings will be in person and take place at venues in Center City and the
surrounding suburbs, including the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish
History. Individual tickets are available beginning October 2 and All-Access
Passes go on sale October 11 at
PhillyJFM.org and through the digital app.
