Bio:

Since the days of making movies with a Flip Video camera at seven years old, Devan Sakaria has been a storyteller, and film has always been his way to tell those stories. At 17 years old and a senior in high school, Devan has three short narrative films, five music videos, and an array of commercial projects to his name. This documentary marks a new milestone as the longest project he’s worked on, and he hopes it will elevate his filmmaking career to a new level. “While it may be too early in my career to call anything my ‘defining work,’ this documentary feels like it almost lives up to that title. It’s the result of nine months of work, countless ups and downs, and has summarized one of the best years of my life into 20 minutes of film. It represents everything I believe in, and hopefully, it will inspire everyone who takes the time to sit down and watch it.”
