Sanford Jenkins Jr. is a Philadelphia-raised, Oakland-based artist, writer and filmmaker, and a graduate of Morehouse College and USC School of Cinematic Arts.

His work has screened at Camerimage, Palm Springs, and BlackStar film festivals, has been published by Violet Summer and AFROPUNK, and has been staged by play collaborative arts in Los Angeles. He is a 2017 DGA Student Film Award winner for his USC diploma film A Craftsman, and a 2018 Small But Mighty Arts micro-grant recipient.
