[UNPAID] Sci-Fi Thesis Film being filmed 3/27-4/3 near Wynnewood, PA
Skip Tantrum: Mind Over Matter is a 20-minute NYU student thesis film about an emotionally-repressed teen who must find his missing crush before he’s held accountable for her disappearance. As rumors of his guilt consume his suburban town, Skip is left only with worsening hallucinations to guide his investigation. Overcoming resistance from his parents, therapist, and best friend, Skip must fight to exonerate himself and answer once and for all: Is he innocent, or is he as crazy as he looks?
We’re looking for actor over 18 years old, able to portray:
DRUG BUYER (40s)
A suburban dad who has fallen on hard times. After his wife and kids left him, he began taking a rare and addictive drug; a hallucinogen that helps him forget his problems. Strangely enough, it’s sold only by a teenage girl at the local high school.
