THE LAUNDROMAT

PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION
Casting the following characters in the short film “The Laundromat.” Josh, a hospice worker, meets Ming at a laundromat and starts to realize he may be forming a relationship with a woman who died a long time ago.

ROLE

• JOSH – Caucasian man, Mid 30s, Divorced, Broke, overwhelmed by life, Licensed nurse background.
• MING – Chinese woman, Late 20s up to early 30s, Hiding a secret. Quiet and strong. Knows what she wants.
• BETH – Caucasian or non-Caucasian woman, 40s, sour on life, always thinking about something else.
• MARY – Caucasian woman, 70s up to 80s, suffering from dementia, frustrated by daily obstacles.

REHERSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES & LOCATIONS
Shooting 5 days in April. The locations will be in Philadelphia.

COMPENSATION
$100 per day of filming plus $100 for one-time rehearsal date
