SYNOPSIS:
Find out what happens when Shane, a young supermarket employee with a desire to help others, is denied from his dream job. This episode explores Shane’s failed attempts to help people as he turns to unconventional methods in order prevent others from feeling his pain. Shane’s abusive past causes him to act on impulse without considering the consequences of his actions.

CHARACTER BIOS:
[SHANE] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Shane is 4 years out of high school and still working at a local grocery store. He is a product of a broken home, but nonetheless has a genuinely kind heart. He suffers from PTSD from his abusive childhood. He loves outdoor activities and is very aware of his surroundings. Shane sometimes resorts to extremes in order to help people in need.

[STEPHANIE (STEPH)] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Steph is a bubbly and outgoing girl who is extremely busy. She juggles applying to law school, working a barista job and her parent’s divorce, all while maintaining the status of being Shane’s best friend. Everyone loves Steph; She is very intelligent and cares about the people she is close to.

[RUSS] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Russ is that guy who bets on sports but can’t shoot a basketball. He loves to talk a big game but normally can’t back up his statements. He likes to poke fun at this friends and often get others to join in. He works as a copywriter at an ad agency. His insecurities push him to exploit others, including Steph and Shane.

[TOM] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Tom is a self absorbed working man at a large corporation right out of college. He is materialistic and is dedicated to advancing his own personal agenda. Tom is the newest addition to Shane’s friend group and doesn’t care about making people feel uncomfortable. He loves to dig into drama and put himself into situations he doesn’t belong in.

[ELI] [GENDER MALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Eli is the nerdy friend in the group. He is generally kind but is easily influenced by Russ’s shenanigans. He often gets sucked into situations because he wants to fit in. He works at a computer software company.

[KEITH] [MALE] [AGE 25-55]
Keith is Shane’s boss. He shares Shane’s love of the outdoors and has that cool guy mentality. He is not career oriented, his passion for nature makes him feel fulfilled. He is personable and good at his job as grocery store manager. He tries to bond with his employees on a personal level finding common interests or traits.

[CHAD] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE:18-25]
Chad is the typical ex-high school jock. He has little drive to better himself and cheats on his girlfriend frequently. He hasn’t changed much since high school and is territorial over both his girlfriend and the girls he cheats with. He tries to make up for his lack of his personality by being a jerk.

[JOSH] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 18-21]
This teen is severely abused and neglected by his father. He is quiet and non-confrontational, because of his fear of being abused. He has trouble connecting with others and finds common ground with Shane, allowing him to finally open up.
