Lucas is a young professional who recently graduated with his MBA. He is a nice guy who tries his best to never step on anyone’s toes. Despite his thoughtfulness however, Lucas can be extremely naive and oblivious sometimes. His excitement for life can be like blinders. Recently married, he pulls together all his resources to move him and his wife to Philadelphia as a wedding present of sorts.

Emma is the wife of Lucas Shaw, who she met while in college. She is an upbeat, optimist who prides herself in her career as a speech pathologist. Having been the only one working the last couple of years as Lucas finished school, Emma is over the moon to finally get out of their tiny apartment and move into the city to start their lives together.
