Malachi (Lead. (18-22) Teen Male. African American) – A young teenage boy who is concerned for who he believes was his only friend (Ali). He becomes suspicious of Ali as his recent behavior and lies has made Malachi lose trust in him.
Ali ((18-22)Lead. Teen Male. Mixed race) – A young teenage boy with pent up anger over parental neglect that manifests in violent ways. Despite hanging with Malachi, he’s always been closed off about his feelings.
Janice/Malachi’s mother ((Mid-Late 30s) Supporting. Mid to late 30s. Female. African American) – A tired overworked mother who tries to take care of Malachi the best she can.
Ray/Well built bully ((18-22)Supporting. Late Teen Male. Any race) – A well built older teen with a superiority complex. Ray enjoys messing with younger teens and being the “alpha male”..
Michael/Bully #1 ((18-22)Supporting.late teen Male. Any race) – Best friends with Ray. Michael is well built, confident, and like Ray; he messes with younger teens to feel more superior than them.
