Felix is a young and not very studious college student. He is cynical and absent-minded, obsessed with understanding the world and the human condition. He is willing to lose everything to understand the secrets of the world. He is also romantically involved with Ivy but is very detached from her.

Ivy is a young college student who is focused on having a good semester in school and her relationship with her boyfriend. Felix is very removed and is not able to be there emotionally for her so she is figuring out whether to move on or not.
