Greetings! My name is Joshua Afiriyie. I am a filmmaker and the co-founder of Philadelphia film collective Babellion Studios! I am currently looking to cast a supporting role for our upcoming dark comedy web-series, The Past, Tonight with Mars Apollo! Over the span of five episodes, we follow eccentric talk-show host Mars Apollo as he condemns the intimates of his life, live on-air!
We are currently looking to cast episode 3’s guest, Wendy Benson, who is Mars Apollo’s mother:
Wendy Benson (Female, mid 40s, black): Wendy Benson is the critical yet aloof mother of Mars Apollo. She raised Mars on her own, with the father, Sean Sr. leaving the picture before Sean was born. There’s great emotional distance between her and her son, leading to some friction and awkwardness. She is stern, hard-working, and no-nonsense.
