Missing Woman Films is looking for a VOLUNTEER pre-production producer (could lead to a line producer role as well) for our pilot for television, DARK BIRD. If you’re a student, freshly graduated, or are looking for projects to bolster your resume, we need your help!
A LITTLE ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Dark Bird is the independent pilot for a series. Featuring a female, Native American lead, Dark Bird is a period drama set in 1860. Think of the concept of Xena: Warrior Princess tempered by the grit and tone of Deadwood. We’re looking to shoot over four days in late August, 2019.
Missing Woman Films is an independent production company working toward training and empowering women in front of and behind the camera.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRODUCER:
We have five months to get our shit together! We thought we could handle it, but it’s quickly becoming too much for our small team. So, we’re looking for a well-spoken, well-groomed star producer.
Your duties would include:
-communicate with people via phone and email
-make lists of things so we don’t forget
-reach out to locations
-arrange transportation
-understand and explain social media campaigns to us old people
-invent a time machine
