I am filming an independent, stop-motion animated short film. The person who auditions for this part must:
• Be comfortable shooting in stop-motion as it requires lots of poses and time
• Have the means to travel to filming locations on their own if necessary
• Be COVID vaccinated and boosted (for COVID-19 protection)
Project Title: Plus Love 2 : Electric Boogaloo
Synopsis: A film that promotes not only body positivity but beauty and size acceptance through pixilation (stop-motion animation
technique involving humans)
The first film, Plus Love In-Motion, was successfully screened at this year’s Women’s Film Festival in Philly.
We are looking for the following:
• Plus size women of different sizes (experienced models/actresses please)
• Between the ages of 25 to 55
• Any height
• Any races/color (white, black, Asian, Hispanic, etc.)
• Able to stand, or hold poses for a significant amount of time and must have energy.
• Must be able to speak on camera
Filming is planned throughout October, November, and December.
Scenes will be shot in various studios throughout the Delaware Valley.
The pay is $200.00.
