Male Actor Needed! (Mid-20’s to Mid-30’s)

I am in the final pre-production stages of casting for a feature film, BACKSTAGE.

This film focuses on the backstage life of community theater. It will highlight the behind the scenes chaos and shenanigans that occur as this fictional theater prepares to put on their show. It’s an ensemble cast that will be a comedy/drama.

I am looking for a NON-UNION actor to fill in the remainder of my cast. Actor will be given a small stipend for their involvement. LOCAL HIRE ONLY. Travel and housing will NOT be provided. Filming will be in Middletown, DE.

What am I looking for?
TOM: MALE. ANY ETHNICITY. AGE MID 20’s to MID 30’s He is the stage manager. He tries his best to keep everyone happy as the production plunges into chaos. As the film progresses one of the actress’s in the show begins to show interest in him.

About the Production:
This will be a 14 day shoot. Filming will be around August 21 – September 3 (give or take).

Availability MUST BE FLEXIBLE.

Must meet these requirements:
1. Non-Union
2. Vaccinated for COVID
3. Local Hire only (filming in Middletown, DE)
4. MUST be available to film during the week and weekends
5. MUST be able to film in the EARLY mornings into the late afternoon.
6. MUST have little to no conflicts. This is a large ensemble film. It will be difficult to honor conflicts in an ensemble piece.
