I am looking for:
50-75 y/o male: John is a lonely man who has lost his wife and has a strained relationship with his son who is away at college. He finds solace in his farm and his crops, which he tends to with care and devotion. John is a man of few words, but he has a deep well of emotions that he keeps hidden beneath his tough exterior. Despite his loneliness, John is fiercely independent and refuses to compromise his principles or bend to the will of others. The story is set in 2019, right before the pandemic. As the story progresses, John is faced with challenges, including the shutdown of his supplier’s business due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the difficulty of finding new suppliers who share his values. Despite these setbacks, John remains determined and resilient, finding new ways to market his crops, such as using TikTok to promote his farm and the #supportsmallfarmers hashtag.
