Seeking an experienced line producer familiar with Philadelphia/Delaware area to break down a feature script for an ultra low budget feature production. Interest in coming aboard the project as a producer/UPM is helpful.
The script is an award-winning script that was a 2021 Quarterfinalist for Academy of Motion Pictures Nicholl Fellowship. In previous years it has been a semifinalist for NYWIFT, Nantucket Screenwriters Colony, among other significant awards.
This will be writer-director’s first feature, and she is funding through grants and is seeking additional funding through crowdfunding and investors.
Logline: A young girl moves in with her uncle who abused her and tries to save other girls from the same fate.
Writer-director has a track record of shorts that have appeared at Slamdance, British Film Institute Film Festival and Reel Sister’s of the Diaspora Film Festival and Lecture series, as well as Afro-Comicon.
Planned shoot date for winter 2023.
