Visions Soar Productions is casting and doing the Cinematography for a feature horror film “Urban Renewal” written by Nicholas Michael Jacobs based on a 1980’s style horror genre that will most likely take place in parks around Center City and possibly Delaware County, PA. Characters needed are described below:
Urban Remewal Killer: Any ethnicity; however, must be able to fit in a camouflage wardrobe of 5’8″ or 5′ 9″ tall.
Guy Rolfe: Supporting role can be any ethnicity approx early fifties who gets killed in the beginning of the movie.
Homeless Person 1 & 2: Supporting role can be any ethnicity.
Che: Lead role, caucasian male approx mid to late twenties. This character experiences many difficult situations throughout the film as he is determined to find out who the Urban Renewal killer is, all the while trying to keep his own wits about him. Need a strong actor with good improv and emotional portrayal.
Josie: Supporting Role, Caucasian female eighteen years old who is the girlfriend to the lead character.
Train passenger 1 & 2: Supporting role can be any ethnicity.
Mrs. Williams: Supporting Role who is Che’s landlord. Can be any ethnicity approx late forties, who has a mean and not give a care in the world atttude.
Mr. Biggs: Supporting Role who is Che’s boss, can be any ethnicity approx late forties or early fifties, and is a very unsensitive person.
James Rolfe: Supporting Role who becomes good friends with lead character, can be any ethnicity approx mid to late twenties with good improv and emotional portrayal.
Warren Wilps: Supporting Role, can be any ethnicity; however, prefer African American. This character is the preacher in the movie who stands outside declaring “Judgement Day” to the passerby’s on the streets.
Cashier and several other featured background roles any ethnicity and age.
