SYNOPSIS
The story follows Chase Benjamin, a young Black college graduate, who seeks membership to a prestigious Black fraternal order. On the road to gain their acceptance, he endures challenges to his Blackness, masculinity and aristocratic etiquette, and in the end learns to accept himself.

A recent college graduate who is insecure about his social status and academic future, and desperate to prove his worth. He’s clever and quiet, but isn’t afraid to stand his ground in awkward/challenging situations.

Chase’s friend, Donald’s son and member of the fraternal organization. He’s gotten everything he’s ever wanted except a real friend and his father’s approval.
