Lead Actress for Instagram Reels Series

Lorcan Saoirse Films is looking to create a series of 60+ micro-videos for Instagram Reels. Each will be eye-catching with creative, high-energy content; a small puzzle-piece to a story set to popular classic rock tunes. Mystery/thriller theme. Shooting in 2k. If successful on IG, we intend to re-shoot as an IMDb-listed short film.
Role:
Character is Unnamed Throughout Series Until End: Lead role for female actress. Shoulder length or longer hair, (must look completely natural). Youthful appearance is crucial to the role. Needed on set for about six, 4-hour days. Lines/dialog: Approx 30 lines. Note additional lines may be added. No nudity, as per Instagram rules/community standards. That said, scene REQUIRES an actress who is 100% completely comfortable with a scene where the character emerges at the beginning of time, covered in a mud/clay material– much like a body-painting scene.
Background: Mysterious lead character appears inexplicably and insinuates herself at various and random significant events spanning humanity’s history across many millennia.
Ethnicity: Caucasian, White, European Descent – Either very pale or medium complexion is a real plus, as are blue or green eyes that pop.
Experience prefered, but all submissions will be considered. Shoot dates: Shooting ASAP this fall, early winter and wrapping in Spring 2021. Our final schedule will come together when cast is locked. Availability for 6, POSSIBLY MORE DAYS of shooting for this role– likely needed on-set 4hrs+ each day. Possible shoot locations include Chadds Ford, Concordville, Ridley Creek State Park, Wilmington, Brandywine/Beaver Valley area and Glen Mills, southern Delaware beach area (one day).
*Priority consideration will be given to candidates from the general area so that distance travelling will not present a burden time-wise or in expense.
Compensation: This is a micro-budget production. This role is the only paid role due to the level of commitment required for multiple days of shooting. In addition to a flat-rate pay, (Rate TBD) we are also offering promptly released copies of finished videos to use in your personal reel, plus productions stills and behind-the-scenes photos to share on your social media or IMDb. We will also schedule a time for a mini-photoshoot with your choice of either a headshot session or modeling shoot– including professionally retouched images. You will also be promoted on our website and across our social media accts.
