Being forced to sell his family home he just inherited, a college student returns to his city for the
first time in years only to pack up and say goodbye.
Michael Young, a 28 year-old Philadelphia native, journeys home for the first time in five years.
After having to say goodbye to the last member of his family, he returns now to pack up the one
thing he’s ever inherited: the family home. Faced with the inability to keep the home due to the
gentrification of the neighborhood, Michael has until the end of the day to box up, hand over the
keys, and say goodbye. This is a story of separation, displacement, and the things lost in between.
