Looking for cast for a low-budget indie film.
Synopsis:
Alex (he/him) has been seeing Jackie (she/they) for a while, Alex is infatuated with Jackie but Jackie may not feel the same way.
‘Wurli’ is about how the feeling of love can blind you from reality, and the people involved in a relationship can have conflicting wants and needs.
Cast –
Alex (he/him) – shy, timid, hopeless romantic. He doesn’t ever say what he actually feels, he lets it bubble up until it eventually just bursts out. Anxious attachment style.
Costume – alt style, indie kid type. Shaggy hair, flannel, etc.
Jackie or “Jack” (she/they) – Headstrong, easygoing. Doesn’t take things seriously. They want to just enjoy life and their youth without consequences, but that’s not a reality they can have. Feelings confuse them since they have trust issues. Avoidant attachment style. A bit of a gaslighter, not with mean intent.
Costume – Grunge/emo-leaning style. Blacks, reds, etc. decorated car, dyed hair. Sharp eyeliner makeup. Non-binary/gender non-conforming.
Taylor (she/her) – sarcastic, but only wants the best for those they care about. They care deeply, but the way they show it is harsh. “Tough love” kind of person. Very protective
Costume – blonde, glasses, casual and comfortable.
