We’re casting for an indie rom-com webseries. The series is about a group of early twenty-year-olds who are discovering their identities and how love and relationships play into who they are as people. It takes inspiration from movies like Saltburn, 500 Days of Summer, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It’s a bit more of a cynical take on the typical Rom-Com format, where the main characters do a lot more chasing and go through different dates and interactions rather than just immediately working out.
We’re currently in pre-production for the pilot episode, and then afterward we’d shoot the full 8-episode season.
Open Roles:
Jaden – early 20s, shaggy hair, slim build with a soft boy/alternative style. Very sarcastic and playful, intelligent and well-spoken. Writer, into poetry and art. He’s a lovesick puppy who hopes to find a partner because love will fix his life.
Throughout the series he’ll discover more about himself, what it means to love and care for someone, and what matters to him at the end of the day.
