We are looking for a Hair and makeup artist for our short film this January. We cannot pay you but we might be able to compensate for your travel depending on how far you are from the Philadelphia area. It would be a great experience and you will receive footage/pictures if you would like to put in your reel/portfolio. The majority of our cast is African American so someone with experience doing makeup for darker skin tones is preferred as well someone who can style Black hair. There is no need for special effects makeup or the complete styling of the actor’s hair. We are just looking for someone to keep and maintain the look of our actors.
The shoot is five days. January 11th, 12th, 13th, 20th, and 21st. We will need you for all five days. Memento Mori is about a recent art school graduate who makes a deal with his ghost girlfriend to visit the afterlife and make it back in one piece.
