Full Time – Editor
We are looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team! As a Video Editor at our company, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing videos for internal and external purposes. You should be a rockstar in post production, paired with a burning passion to create great content, as well as, be obsessed over high quality standards. You’ll work full time in our Conshohocken (PA) office in a fun environment and a great town.
Editor Responsibilities:
● Work at our office in Conshohocken, PA
● 40-50 Hours Per Week
● Competitive Compensation: $70 – $75,000 Base Salary (pending experience)
● Attend Booklight team meetings and be prepared to lead meetings when needed
● Taking ownership of all technical aspects of post production and editing
● Regularly collaborate with Executive Team
● Follow the company’s brand guidelines
● Work with Executives to develop internal post production systems and SOP’s
● Using various software, including, but not limited to: Adobe suite (Premiere Pro /
After Effects / Photoshop), Final Cut Pro X, Red Cine X, and Davinci Resolve
● Willing and able to travel both domestic and international, if needed (passport required)
Editor Requirements:
● 7-10 years of experience as video specialist of a similar role
● Excellent time-management skills
● Great interpersonal and communication skills
● Proficiency in Adobe suite (Premiere Pro / After Effects / Photoshop), Final Cut
Pro X, Red Cine X, and Davinci Resolve
● Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics in After Effects
● Thorough understanding of the post production pipeline
● In-depth understanding of all Google Drive Products
● Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
● Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
● A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
● Ability to be trusted with confidential NDA information
● Ability to represent the Booklight Brand and core values with clients, subcontractors and staff
● Desire to be a part of a start-up culture involving quick feedback loops and high standards of excellence
● Ability to lead freelancers and hold them accountable for high quality deliverables
