Madfilmz is looking for editors, to edit videos, TV shows and films to be produced and broadcast on Public Access TV and viewed on Comcast & Verizon. There will be small stipends, meals, you will be listed in the credits and receive other forms of compensation.
Madfilmz is also looking for production assistants. Production assistants will help produce shows by assisting the producer. The producer may need you to get food for the crew, sign in show guest, escort show guest and monitor the green room, record voice recordings, monitor the audience in studio, setup the set, strike the set, control props and work nicely with crew. The production assistant will receive a small stipend, meals, credits on shows, and other thanks as well.
These jobs will help a new person just getting into video broadcasting and or filmmaking to dip their toe in the pool through working in community media which is prohibited from making commercial money. But, will give you bragging rights for being broadcast on major cable companies. This is great for people that need experience, college students wanting to broadcast on TV before graduation, and anyone that wants to help out. This is not for professionals that are above this.
