In search of a Director and a DP for an upcoming sketch comedy project shooting in January.
Looking for somebody willing to be invested and help create a visual style for 5-6 short sketches. Anticipating no more than 6 shoot days, one sketch filmed per day. Sketches will be shot with two cameras to ensure proper coverage and opportunity for improvisation.
Small budget, but I need somebody willing to invest themselves into the project. I see this as a partnership, and will be a collaborative effort. We have an exciting team of writers/producers already assembled. Director will work with DP to create a visual style that compliments the absurd and surreal content of the sketches.
Deferred pay. Credit and meals on-set provided. Willing to work with less-experienced/student directors if the fit is right. All skill levels encouraged to apply.
For Directors: Experience directing actors for comedy is a huge plus. Send sample short films, commercials, or sketches that you have directed.
For DPs: Access to a high quality camera package is a plus but not a deal breaker as we do have one kit already secured. Send reels or short films as work samples.
