Looking for performers, comedians, writers, and anybody who would be interested in a sketch comedy group. Looking to improve comedic skillset and have some fun filming something on the weekends. Improv players encouraged to join, but no experience required. Sketches will be fleshed out together like a writer’s room and then filmed weekly or twice a month. Collaboration on sketches will be encouraged!
The idea is to create high quality pre-taped sketches for YouTube. If you’re a writer or a performer, this is a great opportunity to collaborate with other like minded comedians in an open environment. Sketches will be filmed horizontally, with a respect for visual humor and cinematography that will enhance/allow the humor to shine.
Think shows like Key and Peele, I Think You Should Leave, Gilly and Keeves, or Chappelle’s Show. Absurd surrealism, crude humor, and dark humor are more than welcome.
