Chest Candy – A Micro Budget Short Psychological Drama
Directed by & Starring award-winning actor/filmmakers Robert X. Golphin (“The Great Debaters”) & Lauren Michelle Morgan (“Freshman Friday”).
Logline: As an army vet unravels, his wife urgently confronts the imminent self-destruction jeopardizing their family. A narrative that promotes empathy, understanding, and dialogue around mental health, PTSD, and veteran reintegration.
Seeking the following positions for an intimate skeleton production crew, who may wear multiple hats. In addition to compensation, positions will be provided meals and IMDb credit.
Camera Operator/cinematographer & 1st Assistant Director:Skilled and talented Camera Operator well-versed in Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras. Owning Blackmagic cinema equipment, accessories, and/or compatible lenses is a plus and welcomed, but not mandatory. Second Assistant Director / Boom Operator: Integral role in ensuring the best quality sound possible, familiarity with Tascam recorders preferred. Availability to shoot for two days (Sat & Sun) on the first or second weekend of June in the Greater Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region, and ability to self-report to set.
