Logline: In the process of a friend-zoned faithful wanting to be more than just an acquaintance, an unlikely bartender is there to lessen the blow of rejection; possibly restoring hope for love.

Jamal Maxey: Lead, 30’s. African American Male. Athletic build. Confident yet anxious. A clean-cut entrepreneur; Jamal is a rising chef who just got one of his dishes accepted into a national restaurant chain. With a celebratory spirit, Jamal meets his close friend and interest Lea to confess his love. (CASTED)
Lea Harris: Supporting, late 20’s- early 30’s. Female. Athletic build. Open and conscientious personality. Very honest. An upper-middle class professional, Lea is climbing the ladder in corporate America while also expanding socially. Lea agrees to meet longtime friend Jamal who intends to confess his love. Lea unknowingly wants to break the good news to Jamal that she and her on-again-off-again partner plan to take their relationship to the next step. Subsequently Jamel swallows his confession.
Lauren Harden: Co-lead, late 20’s- early 30’s. Female. Athletic with hourglass shape. Multitasking and with keen memory; the attentive bartender is outwardly positive. Lauren is the lead bartender in a local tavern, working her way through school to pursue a career in Accounting. After greeting and conversing with Jamal; Lauren gets a front row seat to his unpleasant news and new found sorrow. Lauren and Jamal get more acquainted.
Tammy Silver: Bartender extra, 25-35. Female. Knowledgeable and wholesome. Tammy helps aid Lauren through her experience with Jamal.
Man 1/ Tim Rivers: Supporting, 25-40. Male, comedic. A very voicetress bar-goer. Slim with athletic build. Intoxicated (tipsy), Casually dressed; Tim enjoys his time so much that he hangs by the entrance and verbally narrates comers and goers. Tim has two other friends who accompany him adding to his narrations.
Man 2/ Steve Joe: Supporting, 25-40. Male, comedic. A vocal bar-goer. Tall average body type. Casually dressed; Steve accompanies Man 1 & Man 3. The 3 men heckle bar comers and goers led by Tim.
Man 3/ Tony Tucker: Supporting, 25-40. Male, comedic. A vocal bar-goer. Chubby with a round body type. Intoxicated (tipsy), Casually dressed; Tony accompanies Man 1 & Man 2. The 3 men heckle bar comers and goers led by Tim.
