Casting Call for a Student Short Film at Temple University!
New short comedy film, ISO lead and supporting actors.
LOGLINE: At a dorm party turned smoke sesh, a gay freshman pours out his emotions to his best friend as he recalls the event of a terrible hookup.
MAJOR ROLES:
ARTIE (Male, 18-22)
A naive, queer college freshman; for someone always searching for love, he’s had a tough run finding it.
ERNIE (Male, 18-22)
Boy-next-door type; a reserved college freshman, Artie’s best friend and supporter.
SUPPORTING ROLES:
CALVIN (Male, 18-22)
Hardcore stoner; a joyful freshman, always convincing his friends to try new things for the hell of it.
JAYDEN (Male, 18-22)
College freshman, a stereotypical jock-type; endearing, but not too cleanly or bright.
This is a non-union production that will shoot in the greater Philadelphia region.
Credit, craft services, and experience offered as compensation.
Rehearsal will begin in August 2023. Production will take place 2-3 days in September 2023.
