Project Description:

Shoot date: Saturday, August 13
Offering $400 per family unit per day

As part of a Penn Medicine research project on promoting participation in pediatric clinical trials, we are seeking two family units (1-2 parents/caregivers and their child age around 10 years or younger to record two videos to help promote screening among patients in the greater Philadelphia region.
One of the parents will have a speaking role, the other members of the family will have acting roles.
The actors should be African American.
Filming will be conducted in Philadelphia, including at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The actors should be willing to complete future paid work related to the research project.

Requirements:

African American
Have a child up to age 10, or be a guardian for a child of that age
Be available for a recording being done in front of CHOP and (hopefully) inside a clinic room at CHOP or elsewhere on campus (pediatric facility preferred.)
We would like to have the family unit on camera (1-2 parents and a child) though only one parent will need to speak on camera.
Based in the greater Philadelphia area,
Able to travel to a film location in Philadelphia,
Able to record a brief audition video as a family unit at your earliest convenience – listing closes August 8th.
