Casting for 5 Roles:
Mother, 40s (Macy): Macy is a short-tempered single mother who is never open to talking about her ex-husband Phil.
Son, 15-20 years (Keith): Keith is the kind of teenager who thinks he knows everything. Borderline annoying, but he has a kind heart.

Father, 40s (Phil): Phil is the ex-husband of Macy with a few short appearances in flashbacks.

All Roles Racially Ambiguous.

This is a student short film about a mother-son relationship. When a mean teenager’s grandma forces his short-tempered mother and himself to live with a “step-dad for hire” for a week, the mother and son will have to confront their strained relationship with each other.
