Looking for two male actors and one female actor all around college age for my student short film. Any character can also be non-binary actors. Mostly looking for actors with experience acting in drama films and who can express a range of emotions.
The story follows two friends and their perspectives after one of them has been abused by their spouse. Navigating the complicated emotional journey that comes with it. the situation becomes even more complicated when the abuser attempts to apologize for his actions. The film will be no more than seven minutes.
Tyson – A quiet but caring friend who struggles with anxiety and intrusive thoughts. He is learning what it means to be a supportive friend as he tries to help his hurt friend through their troubling situation.
Harper – A somewhat closed-off individual who goes to Tyson after their recent abuse. They struggle to make sense of their thoughts and feelings as they decide what to do next.
Andrew – Miranda’s spouse. Only in one scene where he attempts to apologize for his behavior hoping to save his broken relationship.
