Project Overview:
“Unbroken Melody” tells the poignant story of a Peruvian girl with Tourette syndrome who dreams of becoming an American idol. Her journey from Peru to America captures the trials and triumphs of refugees worldwide, each with a unique story of leaving their homeland to start anew in a foreign country.
About Me:
I am Deluxion Mohan, an independent filmmaker based in Philadelphia. My films focus on social issues, highlighted by my recent work titled “The Displaced,” which documents the impact of war on children in Ukraine. I am now embarking on my first feature film. There are so many talented people in Philadelphia, all trying to find their opportunity in filmmaking. Together, we can create our own opportunities.
