Assistant Editor
Ruby Pictures, Inc is ISO assistant editor to work on feature documentary Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round, currently in the rough cut stage. Film is about the first integrated civil rights protests in America, which aimed to integrate a DC amusement park.
Two senior editors are working on the film remotely and need support. Ideal candidate will have tons of experience on Premiere and with long-form projects, should have lots of patience, be highly organized, reliable, tech-savvy, and good-natured. Please have experience on several films, and working with large amounts of media. Our AE is leaving for family health reasons, and looking to replace her within the next week. Job is 20-30 hours/week. There are several other projects in the works so potential for a long relationship. AE can be located anywhere but should be available during east coast business hours.
