We are looking for African American actors (two female and one male) 55-75 (or can pass for that age range with makeup) for a short film project that will be shooting in early December.

“Root Water” is about the power of storytelling and the unique history of the African American community.

Actors needed:
Carolina- main storyteller and strong matriarch
George- Carolina’s husband with a sarcastic streak
Mary- Best friend to Carolina

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.
