Story Synopsis – As war rages around a home in the woods, Bud must defend his home from an intruder looking to steal his last sustenance.
Bud – A man in his late 20s, any ethnicity. He has had the luxury of living in a house through the war. His days were always numbered, however, as during his last trip to find food, he was shot in the leg, and at some point recently, his wife didn’t survive. Dealing with loneliness, food in short supply, a leg wound, and now an intruder in his home, he has to make a decision to fight, or lose everything. Or, can he trust again?
Abigail – A woman in her 30s, any ethnicity. She is a thin but hardened survivor, and will do anything to keep it that way. She is blunt and unpredictable to those around her. Having no home, she forages and steals for any food she can find, and she hits the jackpot when she finds Bud’s house.
