We’re making a short horror film in Pottstown, PA June 21st-23rd. We actually have all the people we need but if there’s any emergencies and someone can’t make it, we’ll run into major problems. The film is about three sweaty dirty men who come across a creek in the woods, one of them has a bloody gun, and another finds a shovel that demonically possesses whoever holds it. Blood will be shed(Special Effects blood that is). This is a non pay film, but food will be provided to the cast and crew. And everyone will play a critical role, even PAs. The plan is to shoot the entire film in one continuous shot, things will be moved, and makeup will be applied in coordination with where the camera is at a given moment. It’ll be challenging, but exciting at the same time. We’ll try to get as many takes in as we can before sundown.
If you’re interested in this project, and you’re right for one of the roles, all we’d ask is that you block off that weekend 21st-23rd in case we need you. Rehearsal is the 21st from 330pm to 9pm, and the 22nd and 23rd 1pm to sunset is when we plan to shoot.
Actors:
This is a very experimental storyline, so the characters each represent a different system of the brain triggered or dampened by a separate substance, of course we will work to create fully realized living beings of these characters in rehearsal but if you’d like to learn more about the characters just email us.
