Actor in a short sophomore-level student film about Amelie, someone who doesn’t have the best luck in love and finds someone she clicks with. Plans to shoot in February during the day some weekends and weekdays if available. Snacks will be provided and cast will gain experience for their reel.
Amelie is 22 and has just moved to Philadelphia for a fresh start. She doesn’t know anyone in the city and is a bit socially awkward when it comes to meeting people. She comes across Jess while getting coffee and they hit it off. She has a friend from home, Thomas, who tells her to be careful with her heart but doesn’t listen.
Jess, 21, has lived in the Philadelphia area her whole life and works as a barista while taking night classes. She loves meeting and talking to new people and also coffee.
Charles, any age is a barista at the coffee shop.
Thomas, 22, (only voice-over) is Amelie’s best friend from home and only wants the best for her. He misses his friend but is trying to be supportive of her.
