Overview:
Lil Filmmakers is a West Philadelphia multimedia hub for young professionals with the talent and drive to have a career in the entertainment industry. Our mission is to train young underserved artists to use media and the arts as a tool to overcome societal and personal barriers and prepare them for career opportunities in the arts and media industry. This is a paid internship under the Working for Success program, candidates must be a Philadelphia resident between the ages of 20-24 to qualify. This program will run from October 2020- May 2021. Ideal candidates will be a creative thinker who sees value in high-level production and execution of projects.We are looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, has grit, and can thrive in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop, shoot, and edit original content for Lil’ Filmmakers website and social media platforms
Perform media related tasks in collaboration with team
Produce content that aligns with our brand and audience
Prepare organized and timely reports on the status of projects
Education and Qualifications
At least three years of film production experience
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be a resident of Philadelphia
Adhere to strict deadlines
Great organizational and communication skills
Initiative to work alone and on teams
