Job Overview:
We are in search of a talented Sound Designer to join our post-production team for an upcoming 20-minute short film, ‘FRAT PIE A PARABLE.’ The ideal candidate will have a keen ear for detail and a passion for storytelling through sound. This role is pivotal in bringing our film’s world to life, ensuring that the audio complements the visual elements seamlessly.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the director to understand the film’s narrative and thematic elements.
Design, record, and edit sound effects to enhance the storytelling process.
Synchronize and mix dialogue, background noises, and sound effects to ensure audio clarity and consistency.
Create atmospheric sounds to build the ambiance of various scenes.
Attend review sessions and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
Prepare final mix for film festival submissions, ensuring that all audio meets required technical specifications.
Maintain organized sound libraries and project files.
Stay updated on the latest sound design techniques and software.

Required Qualifications:
Reliable, fun & creative individuals with a robust understanding of the craft.
Displays proficiency in sound design software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity, Adobe Audition).
Strong portfolio of work.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to feedback.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Grounded in his professional training and ten years of theater work, Sacramone established the studio and is currently in post-production on FRAT PIE, its debut short film.
