PLOT
Faker is a short thriller film about a man who confronts a doppelganger that wants to replace him.
CHARACTERS:
GABE – 20s. Male. The original. A neurodivergent individual trying to find his way in the world, whose world is thrown into chaos by the doppelganger.
ELLIS – 20s. Male. The doppelganger. He’s been stalking Gabe and Tam for quite some time. He hides his jealousy for Gabe under an eerie calmness.
(Gabe and Ellis will be played by the same actor.)
TAM – 20s. Female. Gabe’s partner. The only person who really understands Gabe like no one
else. He’s been acting weird all night, and she wants to know why.
BODY DOUBLE – Someone who looks like the actor for Gabe/Ellis at certain angles, so that
we can do some camera trickery.
EXTRAS – Party guests / house show patrons.
Neurodivergent actors encouraged to audition!
