This is a junior-level short film following a desperate woman attempting to prevent her boyfriend’s disappearance.
THE CHARACTERS:
JACKIE – The girlfriend. Highly superstitious. Some might call her neurotic. (Early 20s)
LUKE – The boyfriend. He’s not stupid, in fact, he’s quite reasonable. He just doesn’t know what’s coming. (Early 20s)
WHEN/WHERE:
Production Days: 3 expected shooting days (2 daytime, 1 nighttime), sometime between 4/29 and 5/26 of 2024. 1 in-person audition, and 1 in-person rehearsal before shooting starts.
Locations: Drexel Park, student housing in the Powelton area. Park shoot will take up a significant portion of the afternoon (or morning, if necessary), shoots inside “Jackie’s house” will take 1-3 hours.
Compensation: A meal during the park shoot, screen credits, and footage to use for your demo reel.
