Recruiting Actors for Short Film

Hello, we are looking to fill two roles in the short film, “Crown” by Brandon Anaya. There will be no compensation for the roles as this is a student film. Please read this document before expressing interest.

This short film follows the story of Dominic, a young Latino kid in his late teens who has a strained relationship with his hair. Dominic’s struggle to properly care for his curly hair leaves him self-conscious about his appearance, inevitably taking a toll on his relationships. We are looking for Paul and Jada, Dominic’s love interests.

Eligibility
– Must be 18 years of age or older
– Must consent to be filmed
– Must be comfortable not wearing a mask on set
– Must be comfortable engaging in physical touch for the role
– Must be available on Mondays and Fridays during the day

Paul (white, late teens or early 20s) is genuinely interested in Dominic. He’s quick to compliment. Sometimes he jokes around a bit too much.

Jada (Black, late teens or early 20s) is a playful and spontaneous person. Her impulsive nature may catch people off guard, but she comes from a place of compassion. Jada must be comfortable kissing Dominic.
