Please submit a slate of the actor saying their name and age. Extra: (for minors) have the actor talk about their favorite activity and why they like it. No previous experience required. Submit Reel and Headshot if applicable.

Dates/Location:
We will be filming in the Bucks County area the last week of June, exact dates TBD. The actors should be available for a few rehearsals during the month of June.

Project Info:
“Blue” will be 10-12 minutes long. The project will shoot 3 days at the end of June in Bucks County PA. Exact dates TBD. As we are filming with minors, we will be following the minor labor laws in Pennsylvania on set. Actors will receive gas compensation, meals, and a copt of the film for their reel.

Logline: In order to make her first friend, Anjali, a young 7 yr old girl with a regulatory disorder, must learn that emotions are not good or bad, but it is what you do with them that matters.

ROLES:
ANJALI (Lead):
7 to 9 years old, all ethnicities girl. Active, rugged, emotional.
Ankali is a rambunctious, eccentric young girl. She can never sit still, never stop talking, and never follow the rules. She feels every emotion very intensely and has a hard time understanding how she feels. Throughout the story, Anjali learns how to communicate her emotions and how to better understand herself.

BOY (Supporting):
7 to 9 years old, all ethnicities boy.
This Boy gets in a fight with Anjali, he challenges her to many races and wins all of them, when she gets upset about losing, her gloats his victory.

DAVID (Supporting):
7 to 9 years old, all ethnicities boy.
David is a sweet and energetic young boy. He becomes Anjali’s first friend. He understands Anjali because he too is an outsider who has a hard time making friends.

EVE (Lead):
30 to 50 years old, all ethnicities woman, transgender woman, nonbinary.
Eve is a kindhearted children’s therapist. She understands how to communicate with children and how to see beyond their words/actions. She helps Anjali understand her emotions and teaches her helpful coping mechanisms for anger and sadness. NOTE: for submission, please send a monologue or reel.
