MALE ACTOR NEEDED (AGE 25-35)

NEED TO CAST ROLE IMMEDIATELY!!!

I need one final role in my feature film, Backstage.

This film focuses on the backstage life of community theater. It’s about a fictional community theatre preparing to put on their show, Romeo and Juliet. However, the film mainly puts the spotlight on the behind the scenes politics, chaos and shenanigans that occur when a theater puts on a show. R&J is simply a backdrop to the actual drama the happens behind the scenes. It’s an ensemble cast that will be a comedy/drama.

I am looking for one NON-UNION actor to fill in the remainder of my cast. Actors will be given a small stipend for their involvement. LOCAL HIRE ONLY. Filming will be in Middletown, DE.

What am I looking for?
TOM: MALE. ANY ETHNICITY. Age 25-35. Tom is the stage manager in the film. He is Anna’s (the director) right-hand man. He does his best to keep the show running behind the scenes while Anna directs her show. Many of the characters throw their problems at him and Tom does his best to fix them. Tom is loyal and committed to creating the best show possible. One of the actress’s in the show forms a crush on him, which catches him off guard and unsure of how he feels.

About the Production:
This will be a 14 day shoot. Filming will be August 21 – September 3.

Availability MUST BE FLEXIBLE.

Must meet these requirements:
1. Non-Union
2. Local Hire only (filming in Middletown, DE). An AirBnB will be provided for those that have long drives.
3. MUST be available film during the week and weekends
4. MUST be able to film in the EARLY mornings into the late afternoon.
5. MUST have little to no conflicts. This is a large ensemble film. It will be difficult to honor conflicts in an ensemble piece.
