The locations department for a major network-produced television event is looking to hire a few full time and several part time “day players” entry level production assistants who could be available to work on short notice, sometimes the following day. Previously film set work experience is a plus but not required.
Work days for both full time & day-players will be 12+ hours long. Rate is $200 / day. O.T. after 12 hours and for any 6th or 7th day work, which may be required. We typically can not use someone who can not work the full 12+ hours on any given day.
Applicants must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and provide proof of auto insurance. Part of the job may involve runs to pick up or deliver items. Applicants must have a reliable cell phone. Some positions will require a laptop and MS Office. Most positions require working outside, much walking and also some lifting of heavy items. Many positions require interaction with the general public so candidates should be presentable and able to comport themselves appropriately in a variety of situations.
The positions will be from Mid-October through sometime in the early spring of 2020.
Please email a pdf of your resumé to Please include in the subject line your first & last name and “FULL TIME”, “PART TIME” or “FULL OR PART TIME” to indicate your interest. Feel free to tell us more about yourself in the body of the email.
We apologize that we can not respond to everybody that emails us, but we will keep everything on file. Even if you do not hear from us before filming starts in October, that does not mean that we won’t be calling some people though out our entire schedule to help out as day-players. Thank you in advance for your interest in this project.
