Short description:
As an artist, Alan was plagued with self-doubt and a lack of confidence. Amid his loneliness, the stunning Marie Foriander enters his life. Alan’s art flourished, his once faltering business booming with newfound inspiration. But fate isn’t always in one’s favor. Marie suddenly dies and Alan finds himself slipping back into the shadows of his former self. Entering his 60s, Alan’s story caught the attention of Mark, a journalist from TIME Magazine. Alan reveals his life story to the world, a testament to the power of love and the human soul.
Character Descriptions:
(younger) Alan (25-3o years old, man, no race preferred)
He is dismissive, egotistical, self-critical, hesitant, and nervous due to his failing business and shaky work. After meeting Marie, he is optimistic, happy, caring, and overall a well-rounded human being.
(older) Alan (60s-70s years old, man, no race preferred)
He reverts to his old cynical ways until Mark greets him and reintroduces that spark of happiness Marie gave him.
Marie (20-25 years old, woman, no race preferred)
While she is nervous, Marie as a character is meant to be candid her whole time throughout the films. She pushes Alan to be a better person and is outgoing. Every interaction they have is fun and energetic. Even if Alan is nervous, Marie gets him to feel comfortable and changes his life around.
Mark (25-30 years old, man, no race preferred)
Mark is a younger reporter working for TIME Magazine. He documents Alan’s life and creates a magazine cover for him. He is patient, candid, presentable, and questioning. He makes Alan feel comfortable and opens him up to discover the beautiful story of his life.
